Identifying risk factors for adverse health conditions, particularly during sensitive periods across the lifecourse when their impact may be more pronounced, is a critical public health priority. To achieve this, as part of the Lifecourse GWAS Consortium, we will be conducting GWAS on several physical and mental health phenotypes at different ages across the lifespan within the Lifelines Cohort. This will be important for use in downstream Mendelian randomization studies to detect sensitive periods when exposures may causally contribute to poorer future health outcomes
