The data will be used in the completion of a dissertation for a MSc. in Bioinformatics at the University of Birmingham. The aim is to evaluate current bioinformatic tools for integrating microbiota and metabolomics datasets to identify biomarkers linked to aging and longevity. Tools and techniques such as Multi-Omics Factor Analysis (MOFA) and mixOmics will be examined for their suitability in identifying statistically significant biomarkers of aging.
