The aim of the current study is to examine stable and unstable recurrences of anxiety and depressive disorders over a 20-year period in individuals aged 18 years and older, and to investigate possible demographic, psychosocial, clinical, and biological predictors of these recurrences. Additionally, this study aims to investigate the extent to which certain predictors are influenced by age. To this end, various multiple linear and multinomial logistic regression analyses will be used.

Het doel van de huidige studie is om stabiele en instabiele recidieven van angst en depressieve stoornissen te onderzoeken over een periode van twintig jaar in individuen van 18 jaar en ouder, en om mogelijke demografische, psychosociale, klinische, en biologische predictoren van deze recidieven te bestuderen. Daarnaast heeft dit onderzoek als doel om te onderzoeken in hoeverre bepaalde predictoren worden beïnvloed door leeftijd.
