The data obtained from the EGA databases, specifically EGAD00001007027, EGAD00001007501, and EGAS00001001704, will be used to conduct a multi-dimensional analysis of AD-related genomic and microbiome data. By integrating gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA), phenome-wide association studies (PheWAS), and Mendelian randomization (MR), the study will identify key molecular pathways and biomarkers involved in the gut-brain communication in AD. This project will provide valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms driving AD and could potentially lead to novel therapeutic targets for managing AD through modulation of the gut-brain axis. By leveraging bioinformatics tools and large-scale omics data, the findings could open new avenues for personalized treatments and interventions in AD.
