Our project aims to explore how much type 2 diabetes could be prevented by eliminating specific risks of different life stages in order to inform a comprehensive prevention framework. This can be achieved by quantifying population attributable fractions of risk factors across the life course from parental status, gestation, and early-life exposures through adulthood and old age.
