*Given the high level of interest of CPHEB researchers and that there is funding for about five projects, CPHEB has developed the following application process and criteria:
1. Staff members who would like to apply are asked to submit a short research proposal (max. 1 A4, font size 12, line spacing 1.5) with the research objective, research questions and a brief description of the requested variable categories, as well as the names of the staff members involved.
a. In line with the objectives of the Centre, we ask that the research proposal is multidisciplinary (involving scholars from at least two FEB research
programmes).
b. To be eligible, we expect that the actual research process can start within three months a:er the award date.
c. Realistically speaking, the research can be finalized within 12 months.
d. Submission deadline: 30 November 2023 (cpheb@rug.nl).
e. Decision date: 15 December 2023.
2. All submissions will be evaluated by a committee consisting of three members of the Centre Board. The evaluation is based on availability of the variables in the Lifelines dataset (i.e. feasibility of the project) and the extent to which the requirements 1a, 1b and 1c are met.
3. If more than five submissions meet the criteria, five submissions will be selected via a lottery
