Research on Respiratory Diseases

This project aims to analyse different research questions in the field of respiratory health (as discussed on 28-1-2026). The main focus will be on environmental and personal risk factors for asthma, COPD, lung function and respiratory symptoms. Both cross-sectional and longitudinal analyses will be performed. Part of these research questions originate from the CADSET-project (previous OV17_0414). CADSET is a European consortium in which all kinds of projects on lungfunction/respiratory health are investigated. Other projects originate from my own research group (previous OV17_0419) and from collaborations within the Groningen Research Institute for Asthma and COPD (GRIAC).
