Why is the Lifelines partner fee changing?

In recent years, the University Medical Center Groningen Groningen (UMCG) and the University of Groningen (RUG) have provided additional financial support to lower the partner fees for researchers from these institutions. This additional financial contribution will not be extended, meaning that from January 1, 2025, the standard partner fees  will apply again for researchers from RUG/UMCG.
