The dataset now includes for example all baseline self-reported children data on behavior and health, measurement data from the second assessment from both adults and children (e.g. lung function, ECG and blood pressure) and new ISCO codes of occupations.

Data catalogue and data access process
The Lifelines data is available for researchers worldwide. For access to the data, researchers can submit a proposal and a data item selection through the updated Lifelines catalogue, available at https://catalogue.lifelines.nl/. More information on the application process can be found on our website: https://www.lifelines.nl/researcher/biobank-lifelines/application-process.
Lifelines makes use of a fully automated process linked to this catalogue to create your dataset. With this system, we are able to grant access to the dataset within 2-4 weeks after receiving the signed contract.
What’s next?
Part of the Lifelines participants have not participated in the second assessment of Lifelines yet. They will visit Lifelines in 2017 and will also fill out the questionnaires belonging to the second assessment. In addition, another questionnaire, following the second assessment, is ongoing. After we have collected these remaining data we will be able to prepare a new data release.
